Guns, pickups, pocketknives...power tools? I'm trying to think of all the things regular people know are inherently useful but which city people are frightened of, have never handled, and never have a use for (never having done anything for themselves), and therefore make fun of.

Well, my city has certainly has lots of guns, but not in the hands of regular people. That was illegal up until very recently, due to the way city folk tend to vote.
