They had to put an HDMI 1.4b and ruin an almost perfect convertible.

Yes, that is not ideal but not a dealbreaker. You have 2 Type-C ports supporting DP 1.4. So, if you have a HDMI 2.0 based monitor, just a Type-C to HDMI 2.0 cable will do.

Quote from OP :
Numpad 2.0
I know a lot of people don't care about this anymore, but that NumPad in the touch pad has GOT to be one of the most needless & stupid examples of form over function I've ever seen. Anyone who crunches numbers will have to sit significantly to the side of the laptop (which side depends upon dominant hand, but to the left for most of us) for that to be anywhere near ergonomically comfortable (and accurate) to use. It was SOP up until about a decade ago to overlay the NumPad on the keys below the number row's 7, 8, 9, & 0 on an angle to the right, and that made more sense ergonomically (sorry, left-handers - you'll probably already have a specialized keyboard [walmart.com] anyway). I wish they'd bring that back (and make it harder to accidentally activate if it's such a confusing problem for boomers or something).

EDIT: it occurred to me that this feature might be useful for gamers who assign the NumPad keys to various functions & so will want it to be always on as opposed to the switchable keyboard overlay. So that's good I guess, but I wish they'd still support the old standard & more ergonomic overlay as well.

With all the crypto crashing, GPUs ought to be cheap enough soon that you'll probably find that deal within a year or so.

Take this with a grain of salt as I haven't really been keeping up on processor specifics, but yours has an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, which means it's probably better for gaming and other GPU-intensive uses. It also has USB 3.2 Gen 2 versus the Gen1 on this. However, yours also has half the storage space of this one, a slightly lower screen resolution (combined with a slightly larger display size), and doesn't mention Thunderbolt connectivity or USBC PD while costing roughly ~$150 more.

Two different animals. The 14" has a more powerful cpu/gpu. It is thicker (0.63") and heavier (3.1lbs.) compared to the 13.3" an ultra book like thin (0.55") and weight(2.6lbs).
The 14" is slightly lower resolution but it's 16:10 aspect ratio, the 13.3" is higher res at 4K but it's 16:9. I prefer the 16:10 for more productivity but do like a higher res.
It's an apple and orange comparison. It all depends on your needs. I wish I can return the Lenovo Thinkpad X12 I just got for this deal. This is a better form factor for my needs. I love a color accurate OLED screen.

appreciate the info, but I feel with the logic you're using they would have to be identical to be an apples to apples comparison Big Grin
