It's right in the name, compact flash. If you're not familiar, then probably not something you need right now. Typically used in higher end camera/video equipment these days.
I rarely get high transfer speeds over 500MBs with the lower-sustained write speed cards, even on 20Gb/s USB-C cables to gen4 PCIE NVMe SSDs. It only occurs if you leave your SSDs mostly empty, which defeats the whole purpose of the storage capacity you pay for.
Their PCIE NVMe SSDs are pretty good. I get good write/read + random read speeds on their gen4s though.
