Complaints are the software is slow. Might want to use an external streaming device for these. Nice price. Use a CC that extends the warranty a year. TCL isn't very good with customer service and these sets seem to have more trouble than others.

I can't comment on that for this specific model, but I have an older 2018 4-Series 55" and the Roku still runs great 4 years later. But yeah with these budget TV's the processors are not always that great so any update could cause issues.
Much better options out there, but if you are on a tight budget they make pretty good TV's for the price.

$ per inch is definitely attractive, especially for a bedroom or kids' basement TV.

I have this one bought in Target January almost the same $250 price. I use it average 8 hrs/day (I'm retired). The software reponse fast. I can install all streaming channel I need. The internal speaker is better than other TV the same size but I use the soundbar or my Yamaha AV receiver. It works perfectly when connect with HDMI Arc. Easy to screen mirror my phones (android, Iphone) or cast Spotify music. The picture is bright and good. It is an excellent 4K TV for this price.

"The Hisense U6G is much better than the TCL 4 Series/S446 2021, mainly because it has more features, and the units we tested have different panel types. The Hisense has a VA panel with a local dimming feature that allows it to display deep blacks, while the 65 inch TCL we tested has an IPS panel without local dimming, so blacks look gray in the dark. However, that means it has wide viewing angles instead. The Hisense also gets much brighter, allowing it to fight glare, and it has better motion handling thanks to its quick response time."
