FWIW, I ordered a couple pairs of these during the Memorial Day sale when they were briefly $35 a pair. They're fine general trainers, but pretty firm so if you're looking for a cushy shoe I'd look elsewhere. You'd think having a rubber bottom would be good for traction, but they're possibly the worst shoe I've run in for wet pavement. Since there are quite a few decent deals out there for Saucony shoes right now, I'd suggest considering these options:
Kinvara - Lighter, better traction on wet pavement (which surprised me, given the bare foam that makes up most of the bottom of the shoe). I use mine mostly for speed work now, but they'll make an ok daily trainer. I will say mine only last 300 miles before I start getting sore.
Triumph - Softer and suitable for long miles. I've heard speculation that these will last longer than the Ride.
I already got two pairs 😂
And two pairs of the Triumphs 😂
No mas! No mas! 😜

Yeah… I'm at 5 pairs now from these damn sales - Speed, Pro, Kinvara and 2 pairs of Axons. I need to stop. But I run near 100 miles a month, so I burn through shoes.

No love (again) for us over-pronators. *sigh*
Great price if your not a runner like myself but appreciate a nice comfortable shoe

Hopefully the Tempus is 50% off this time next year. Looks to be a winner for overpronators who want to be able to push it in a bouncy shoe with a drop less than 8-10mm.
