Clicked on the post to see what it was. Still no idea. Clicked on the product link to see what it was. Still no idea. Searched google images using a copy and past of the above post without thinking ("Jesus Precision Stock Guides")...now I am more confused.

It's used in woodworking and is meant to be used with a router table and a fence.

You mount it to a fence on top of the work, and it pushes your wood firmly against the surface.
Helps keeps your fleshy bits further away from a chunk of metal spinning at a few thousand RPM.

Picture wheels that only roll in one direction.

This helps prevent kickbacks and steadies the feed.

Note that you do not get the guards or dust collection stuff shown , you will need more hardware to mount this to a standard fence.
