Shows $189.99 for 2tb. Is it targeted discount for prime members only?

For those interested: do note this is the "Lite" edition, which is considerably slower than the other Gammix drives.

would this drive be better than a Samsung 970 evo plus 1tb, (Given both are connected in the same older 2018/ 2019 motherboard with PCEe 3.0 slot) ?
Or would it be better to wait for a Samsung 970 evo deal (if it comes for a comparable price in the future ~$80 to $90)?

Not sure which is better overall performance and reliability wise for my older system. (I'm assuming both are fine)

The 970 Evo Plus is the better SSD. User "New Maxx" on Reddit maintains an in-depth SSD guide here [reddit.com].

Yes thanks that's what I figure, so I'll just wait for another deal on that hopefully sometime soon. I missed the Amazon May sale for $84, and passed on the refurbs from BB for 79.99. so will wait and see...And I might have gotten the WD black sn850 for only $82 last week if I was paying attention...
