The focus is fast enough for most purposes. The downside really is how cheap it feels. Very plasticy.
The long story short of it is: this is an excellent price for an excellent lens. Outperforms even at the retail price. It will feel plasticy/cheap, and don't expect any weather sealing.

Correct
auto focus and eye focus for pictures works well for my casual use.

probably less vignetting than kit zoom, but in general terms of ff 35/2.8 lenses on a ff sensor, it does have significant vignetting, one of the drawbacks to being super small and light.
you won't find a better bargain at $134, that's for sure... the one i got years ago is well-centered, it's not like those cheap korean 14mm manual focus junk lenses from 10-15 years ago.
