I keep seeing the smaller sizes go in relatively good sale prices while the larger screens don't get discounted much

It's been this price for awhile I believe, they also have an additional 5% back with the Chase Prime card, so 10% back total.

You're not wrong, those larger screens aren't get discounted like the 48" and 55". Hopefully that changes during the July 4th sales.

I hope you're right. If demand is strong at current prices then we won't see deep discounts soon. It's also a matter of how much inventory retailers got stuck with. We'll see...

Is it worth waiting for the C2 to drop in price?

Depends on if it's worth waiting probably the better part of a year to basically just get a 20%; boost in brightness to you. The C1 already has all HDMI 2.1 ports and every other gaming feature the new gen offers and everything.

The difference between the two is very minimal

I got this for $700.00 at my Costco as it was the last one available and they are no longer restocking the c1.. it was listed at $800 tho I just was able to negotiate them down to $700 + 5 year warranty.

This may sound daft, but how are whichever retailers that toe works with offering such better prices?
