$1.50 for a VR game had me ready to buy but... this looks incredibly boring... You just zap colored orbs? Am I missing something?

There's a lot of strategy and timing involved with the combo system, and accuracy is important. It's in my top 5 VR games. Once you get through the intro levels and get the hang of it, it's actually pretty great.

I don't suppose it works on oculus store. Most of us have quest 2 but there aren't too many quest store deals other than that one by fanatic

No, but you should be able to play Steam VR games with Quest 2 if you have the link cable.

Na definitely doesn't have to be that expensive, my computer is probably 13 years old aside from the 1070ti video card I recently purchased and I can play Steam VR wirelessly without any issues.

I think the primary point of his comment though is valid. Saying you JUST need a link cable (which the official one is roughly $80, or you can use a $10 cable without issue) is the cheapest part of the requirement...you need the VR capable PC, which the majority of Quest users don't have since it is marketed as stand alone.

Will this work on Reverb G2? Not sure why the steam store is listing specific VR headsets

"Notice: Requires one of the following virtual reality headsets: HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, or Valve Index. See the VR Support section for more info."

is there a utility or something I can run to tell me if I have a 'vr capable' pc? Does it tell me which games I can play?
