I was in the market for a surface go 3 and saw Microsoft had a sale. This seems to be the best middle ground spec as I heard the I3 does not offer much speed only different architecture.
Bestbuy has it listed for regular price 549.99. When I went to pick up the store said they could not price match the manufacturer.
Later today I saw that bestbuy had dropped the price to 495.99
I talked to Bb chat and they actually let me price match Microsoft's price

All the surface tablets have 4-core cpus (a few older ones have 2-cores), so they are last generation slow vs 2022s 12th gen 10 to 14 core Alder Lake tablets coming out.
For this size, likely the next generation of Surface Gos will have 8-core Alder Lakes (U or ultra low power), but that might be next year given how slow Microsoft is at releasing models with the latest cpus.
Track general pricing using camel camel camel website since this will let you time sales and price matching. (Use older surface gos to get an idea when sales are during the year.)
