As Dr J mentioned, I think you'd be hard pressed to make a similar quality cable for this cost.
I guess you can always purchase some 12/3 cabling and replace the cable if you need higher amperage/more length.

"The unit I received does not have any brand name like Yellow Jacket on it and came in a generic box. It only says "made in China" on the back. It appears to be a knock off. I am trying it out but wouldn't order again."
I don't necessarily have a problem with knock-offs (hell, everything is made in China any damned way) but if I'm buying a name brand, I want the name brand.

This is a well known issue with Amazon. They don't inventory items by seller, so counterfeit can easily be added in the mix
