Comes with rebranded Surface Pro X keyboard (my assumption from seperate, related purchases). The keyboard is very nice and more of a leather feel than the alcantara but does not store the Surface Pen 2. Keyboard is backlit, user replaceable SSD, RAM is NOT upgradeable.

IF the SP 9 comes out in August, this may drop some more. Great price for a SP8, questionable price as a PC for the given specs unless you really want this design. If you are here, you probably don't need an introduction to how awesome this device is!

    Yes but 8Gb is the bare minimum and amazon app store is limited. Android apps works on any Windows 11 that meets minimum requirements. I tried them on my desktop.

    Thanks OP. I may have to return the 7+ I just bought because I got confused about the USB type c on it. I thought it did get TB3 support. This would only be $200 more.

    I highly recommend not getting a 128gb storage option. My surface filled up way too fast and I'm always having to delete stuff

    I think this is likely the best advice, but I did just order the 7+ i5 128gb new w/ keyboard for $645+tax via urlhasbeenblocked on eBay(pretty sure people are iffy on this seller but I've ordered from hem in the past). I didn't want to spend >$700 and I don't think the Pro 8 will dip into that price point for a while.

    8gb ram is for basic web browsing, so if your doing heavy multitasking, I would get something else
