You actually need 3! One with a grinding disc, one with a flap disc, and one with a cutoff disc. It is so nice to not have to swap so often and be able to set the guards for each use type.

As for the hard case - While nice, it is a pain for anything other than long storage. It's virtually impossible to close the lid without a fair bit of fiddling to get the cord situated and out of the way of the inner clam shell protrusions.

EDIT: Anyone ever use one of these to cut tile at the toekick, or am I just asking for trouble? I have tile running under all of my cabinets and can only put this retile job off for so long.
