    Battery size it a bit smaller. But due to the high efficiency of Ryzen processors, you'll still get decent battery life, just not great.

    Exceptionally priced for an Eight core productivity laptop. Checks most of the boxes. Good contrast display, robust cooling (dual fans), plenty ports, 2 x SODIMM & M.2.     Pulled the trigger on this one. Has everything I needed for a regular workhorse and still extremely upgradeable and is not a Dell (had two Dell Latitude from work burnout on me)

    I've never owned a laptop, but I'm considering doing some travel, but I need screen real estate for work.

    hdmi and usb-c port.. yes, you can. You can do USB-C to HDMI. Or you could get a dock as someone else mentioned to have less plugged in, but you don't have to.
