Agree of the risking lives part, but don't know about the decent money part. As a matter of fact, some of them do it on a voluntary basis.

You can be rest assured that this is less for firemen and more for storm chasers due to the chrono and telemeter. And that the watch's full name is "Ball Fireman Storm Chaser Pro".

Ashford lies about the value of their brands, I have looked on other webistes, and the value of some of these watches are no where near the claimed value Ashford claims.
