People on Slickdeals always think that $100 for a bicycle is so cheap that it can't even be good enough to casual stroll around the community. You know in so many countries, people only spend maybe not even $50 to get something they ride to work every day, for years.
Yes bicycles have become commodities, since they are cheap dependable transportation in most of the world, but here they are marketed as sports equipment and sold with fat profits.
"Any" bike is better than no bike, but that said, this looks trashy, sorry.
At this price points, anything complex is almost impossible to be of decent quality.
There is a reason a "dual suspension" bike with 3x6 drivetrain MSRPs less than the cruiser bike in the same deal: it's probably trash.
Get a simple bike for strolling around. That cruiser, or a rigid (no "pretend to have suspension") bike with a few speeds (say 1x7) if where you live has a few small hills you'd like to tackle.

How is the dynacraft bike? Is it worth it to buy it for a 5'10 male of 170pounds? Just for casual stroll around the community

That Dynacraft is hot garbage, even at this price point. You'd be much better off looking at a bike with no suspension at the same price point. The Dynacraft suspension will just add weight while providing nothing but a bouncy ride.
Great deal! I just won my local 21-30 men's division mountain bike comp with this bike. Only mod was some new grips.
You're crazy if you don't buy this
Has anyone tried out the Kent? Looks like a decent little bike for a cruise to the beach.
I have the Kent Bayside. Got it when it was $124. Better bike than this one, with gears, etc.
For $98 I would say this is an ok deal. The single gear is kind of weak. The overall cruiser feel is decent for rides around a neighborhood but with a single gear this may be tough on any hills.
I would get the cruiser if I had to choose. It's simple, no crappy gears, no crappy brakes, and no crappy suspension. Just a simple bike with not a whole lot to adjust.
