*In-Store Only, YMMV*

These stackable tool boxes have been marked down further below the most recent sale in two different stores in NY I have been to.

Links for reference only:

$19.98 for the small pro organizer
https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../205440492

$29.98 for the medium tool box
https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../205440481

$49.98 for the large wheeled cart box
https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../205441921

This would bring the total of the three sizes stacked to under $100 down from the $119 from the previous FP deal.

These marked down prices are not shown online, even when in-store pickup is chosen.

Good luck hunting!

I have several boxes like this from Ridgid and Milwaukee. Here are my impressions.

I've looked at other brands, and walked away laughing -- Craftsman, Husky, Hart, etc are flimsy wanna-be boxes. Even some of the DeWalts fall into this bucket too. Thin, cheap plastic, lots of twisting & bending, and the worst of which -- terrible latches. They're not worth it. And they're priced too close to Ridgid to be competitive as a bargain option.

If you aren't a professional contractor hauling around the maximum weight limit of these boxes every single day in adverse conditions -- save your cash and buy Ridgid. Using arbitrary figures -- Ridgid is about 90% of the Milwaukee quality for half the price.

If you're a serious contractor where money isn't an object...when "you absolutely can't have something fail" -- look at Milwaukee. It's a better build quality, but with diminishing returns. They can hold a lot more weight, take a lot more abuse. They exude a premium fit and finish....with quite a few case options to choose from. If I was professional, I'd go with big red and not look back.

But if you're a weekend warrior/homeowner/casual repairer -- big red is spending a premium for something you're probably never going to take advantage of. Ridgid and Milwaukee will hold up equally fine under the same average conditions. Save your cash and buy two oranges instead of one red. Or put that cash into actual tools.

Ridgid is the sweet spot in tool cases right now. And if they're on sale, you can't go wrong.

I did see this in the store the other day and picked up the $20 immediately. Perfect for storing my electrical tools and all the Wagos. Even better than that Hart deal that was sold out so quick

The website and app aren't showing the actual in-store prices. Brickseek didn't seem to show any available in the stores that still had several. If I can figure out how to post pics, I will add the pics of the prices on the shelves.

which Hart deal? The recent Walmart deal? Why is this better?

Bought the 3 stack rolling cart version of this for black Friday last year after reviewing many similar systems from different brands. Glad I went with the Ridgid. For the price it is incredibly well constructed compared to the more flimsy systems from Hart, Husky or Craftsman for instance.

Great boxes. I paid for the set around $80 in 2019.
