Bumble Bee Chunk Light Tuna In Water, 5 oz Cans (Pack of 24) - Wild Caught Tuna - 22g Protein Per Serving is sold for $15.89 ($0.66 per can) after applying 15% off first subscribe and save clip coupon. This is among the cheapest price I've seen on tuna these days.

Thanks, tuna under 75 cents/can is unheard of anymore, used to get 50 cents all the time.

Problem is this is my least favorite brand, they seem to "mince" the tuna to give it the fake label "premium".

Meanwhile the cheap 75 cent walmart brand is actually huge chunks of solid fish in the can which non-intuitively is better
these past few months i've been just shopping walmart. their great value brand is actually really good taste/macro wise. frozen potatoes? greek yogurt? strawberries? red beans? all amazing.
"Light Tuna" refers to the species of Tuna fish contained in the can (aka smaller cheaper fish).

I can't speak to the "soy" thing, however it doesn't seem to be a significant enough ingredient to be listed on the Ingredients list itself. I could be wrong, but I'm not seeing red flags here so far.

Even on the can it tells you there there is only 113 grams (3.98 oz) drained.

Great Value brand is just another more recognizable brand repackaged. Example: Great Value peanut butter is Peter Pan (learned this from a health recall lol). "Great Value" doesn't have its own factories that make cheaper product. Good deal

Same. The closest Walmart store is a 50 minute drive one way and a hassle to Instacart. Recently got a 3 month Walmart + trial and a lot of their food items are cheaper compared to other stores and amazon. I love their great value sugar free jam preserves. Before my trial expires I'll probably order at least 6 jars since it's cheaper than smuckers brand. Also just got their great value canned no sugar added apple pie filling. Plan to use it in some ninja creami ice cream recipe. Not sure I'll keep I'll keep Walmart + but those 2 food items alone are must buys for me

Walmart grocery pickup always replaces a lesser item with better or greater amount (at no extra charge). Plus use code TRIPLE10, to get $10 off your 1st 3 orders $50 or more. No brainer for grocery pickup compared to Instacart's overpriced items and replacing with much pricier products and charging you the difference

I was excited about the price too...I was even going to place multiple orders. But then I noticed it said "light" tuna. Out of curiosity, I looked to see what that even means and it's SOY! So no wonder it's cheaper. Cancelling my order. Hope that wasn't a coupon that could've been used on something better because I just burned it. Mad

Based on this blog [columbian.com], both light tuna and albacore tuna may contain soy, most likely due to the vegetable broth.

Albacore tuna is generally more expensive, but it also has much higher mercury levels [fda.gov].
