    Just remember that 511 refers to the fit, which is pretty slim. The fabric can be of varying quality, especially with the cheaper ones. I've got some high quality 511s that have lasted forever and a crappy pair I bought from Amazon or Kohl's that are so cheap feeling that I never wear them.

    Much of that comes down to the material blend. On the Amazon page you'll see some that are a cotton/polyester/elastane mix while others are cotton/lyocell (a material synthesized from plant fibers)/elastane.

    But all of them are blends which keeps costs down while making them a bit stretchier. Personally I prefer 100% cotton in a proper fit and deal with an uncomfortable pair for a few days as they stretch to fit in. Just like a pair of quality leather boots. Then they'll last forever and be as comfortable as pajamas.

    Last time I bought these they were counterfeit. The "leather patch" was literally cardboard that fell apart in the wash. They were shipped and sold by Amazon.

    Ok at the top of the page it says 511 slim fit. - But down below it says Regular, Slim, and Big & Tall. When I click on any of these three it still says men's 511 slim fit jeans at the top. I can understand Big & Tall slim fit but I've never heard of Slim Slim fit jeans or Regular Slim fit jeans. I'd think instead of slim slim they'd call that skinny. - so what's the deal here?

    This jeans goes to slim side. Regular size fit me well even I wear slim size for other jeans.

    Of the pairs I've tried from Amazon, they were not of the same quality as the ones that I bought from Levi's directly. The wash of course has an effect on the "feel" but there are differences in the material used as well. Just something to keep in mind if you're planning to order.
