I've been cross shopping this with the lattego. I decided on this due to a hotter milk froth.
I just ordered it as well
Yea, a short wide cup would fix the issue though. Been doing research and can't find any other cons besides short height and lack of big color screen
Seeing 749.00 on wholelattelove ???

Use coupon code: july4th The only issue buying here is that they don't do free returns like Amazon. So, if this something goes wrong right from the start, you have to deal with warranty or return it and get charged restocking and return shipping fees.
Add a Gaggia decalcifier to get it over $750, then july4th code gets $75 off.
Phillips Lattego you CAN set the temp for the coffee hotter (98 degrees Celcius), default 94 C, or lower 90 Cel -- the steam water for the milk is always at 100 Cel steam to steam the milk
For ease of use and cleaning, Lattego is the best since no tubes at all, rinse/wipe with soapy sponge, rinse in seconds just like you do a cup
--but Juras, DeLonghi, etc-- you have to clean about 3+ days their milk tubes (5+ mins) or else the milk/bacteria build up
#1 MUST have for any machine is a burr grinder for fresh ground beans
-- food lab tests
show coffee grounds start to grow STALE (aka oxidation) 20 MINUTES AFTER GRINDING just like an apple that is cut exposed to air turns
BROWN FROM OXIDATION
#2 Food lab tests show also you want at least 15 bars (about 225+ lbs of pressure PSI -each bar is 14.7 lbs of pressure PSI) of pressure in a espresso machine to squeeze out 900+ more essential oils because each essential oil is a different flavor and aroma
Sure, you can get by with mininum 11 bars to 13 bars of pressure that some $50 to $200 machines use but professional taste tests show 15+ bars is the sweet spot which is now the standard that almost every good coffee shop goes by

Having said all this, is the Lattego the machine you recommend?
