Having troubling activating the sim you received? 2 Activation messages people are running into:

1. "Incompatible device": This means your phone is not compatible with Boost and or AT&T's network. You will need a phone from the PDF list above to get back to compatible status.

2. "Something went wrong with your request. Please try again later": Boost may have accidentally sent you a bad sim and there are 2 ways to fix that: 1. Go to a local Boost Mobile store and ask a rep to assist in activation or just ask for a new sim. 2. Ask Boost CS for a new one but it may or may not get to you soon.

AT&T Network status:

5G+: MmWave which is AT&T's lightning fast 5G network, is live and available in select cities and in select areas.(5G Phone/5G Sim required)

5G: Also known as LTE+NR NSA, this tech is when a carrier pairs LTE and 5G Non Stand alone tech together to keep speeds high when MmWave is not available. 5G Standalone(SA) does not need LTE to work. (5G Phone/5G Sim required)

5Ge/4G LTE: What's the difference between 5Ge and 4G LTE? not much really other than 5Ge means your area may have been upgraded with newer tech/higher speeds on LTE via Carrier Aggregation(CA).

4G HSPA+: This network is being shutdown, will no longer be available starting August 1st, 2022.

3G HSDPA/HSUPA: This network is being shutdown, will no longer be available starting August 1st, 2022.

7. What are the activation requirements for compatible GSM phones?

For iPhone:
You will need to do 2 things to make sure you can receive data on your iPhone
- Update your IOS to 15.2 (most recent IOS update)
- Update your carrier settings to 49.1

If you can not update your IOS settings, you will not be able to access your data once you activate your SIM card and your phone.

8. How does express activation work?

Express activation allows you to use your SIM account and service as soon as it arrives. Just insert your SIM card into your device and the service should be ready to go. Activation begins 2-3 days after shipment.

Express activation is required with this deal. At checkout you will be able to choose between Porting in your existing number or having a new number assigned to you from Boost Mobile.

12. How do I turn off autopay?
You can easily update your autopay logging into your account. After you log in, click on the 'Re-Boost' or 'Add Money' tab and select the link at the bottom of the page to set up automatic payments. There you will be able to update your current AutoPay settings or check the box to unenroll from AutoPay.


13. What can I do if I am having trouble with my address or credit card payment at checkout?

Address:

3) Deselect Autopay.
4) Click Save
