    I'd say it's less about leaving it at home and more about being respectful with when and how loud you have it. We use ours on our TV (little one, 23" or something like that) so that the speaker can be closer to us and we don't have to turn the TV up as loud. We can't hear it at all when we walk away from our spot to use the restroom or whatever.
