I bought the last one. The listing restocked instantly with 2 more. So no need to fomo it like I did. But who knows, maybe this time is a real count.

Did you like it? I was looking at this price and it's attractive. Didn't know how it was compared to the k70 or k95

I can't compare this to another Corsair, as I only own this one. Love it so much I bought 2: One for home and one for work.

Keyboard feels and sounds great. They are Cherry MX viola switches, which I had not experienced before. To summarize:
  • Cherry MX red are quiet and good for gaming. Not very "clicky."
  • Cherry MX blue are loud, not as good for gaming and have a solid "click" noise. Great for touch typing. I prefer MX blues.
  • Cherry MX viola (the keyswitch in this keyboard) is like a hybrid between the red and blue keyswitches. It has the quiet of the red, with a bit of the feel and actuation of the blue. A very comfortable switch for touch typing and I think they work almost as good as the red for gaming. An all-around good switch type if you do a mix of gaming and keyboarding (as I do.. at home at least!). At work it is just work. Big Grin
One thing I don't like about this keyboard is the metal/aluminum frame. In the springtime I was getting shocked like crazy every time I touched the keyboard after sitting down at my desk chair. I think it is because my shoes were rubbing on carpet, building up a charge, and the frame (being a type of metal) conducts the static electricity and you feel the shock! So I have to remember to touch the keyboard (ground myself?) before sitting down in my chair. After figuring that out I haven't been shocked as much.

Touch typing purists may not like this keyboard, as it is by no means a substitute for MX blue switches. But I think the MX viola is a good blend that works pretty well for gaming and typing.

The keyboard has a substantial feel to it. Very high quality construction. I only wish Corsair would make a TKL (ten key-less) version. I don't use the numeric keypad much and would prefer not to have it on the keyboard. But the keyboard feels so nice to use that I am willing to live with the keypad.

Just got this keyboard today to replace my 6-year old Logitech G610 Cherry MX brown mechanical keyboard.

This Corsair K60 is much lighter, solid, and smoother than the Logitech G610. The Cherry MX switches this keyboard has is much quieter and less clicky than the Logitech. Very different compared to the MX browns I'm used to. No extra features this K60 has on it, like no volume knobs, no extra dedicated buttons for media or lighting. It's very minimalistic and barebones, which I like.

Solid deal for a solid keyboard.
