This seems like a great price, but it is worth noting that Wemax will be releasing a triple-laser 4k projector soon with a much higher ANSI lumen rating.

I'm hesitating to pull the trigger only due to the lack of a default HDMI. If you don't play on using their native smart app, having to change the default input every time you turn on the project seems as though it could get rather annoying rather quickly.

I don't think you'll be able to find a UST ALR screen for $300 anymore. This screen was on sale for $500 for about a day and hasn't been less than $630 since.

I saw other mentions of it dipping down to 1200. Do you know where it was sold that low?

There is an app designed for Amlogic projectors (Wemax, Xiaomi, Fengmi, etc.) called ProjecTivy Tools that lets you access additional functionality. It also lets you set a default HDMI port. I have a Wemax Nova and use this to default to HDMI 1.

Do you have step by step guide to boot to specific hdmi? I can't seem to get it to work. I have app installed on both wemax and nvidia shield.

There's an app you can install/sideload to have it start on a specific input. "ProjectIvy tools"

It was on wemax's website. That's how I got mine. Great deal at 1200 IMO. (Regardless of the new tri-chroma projector coming)

Not a good deal at all, they rejected my order yesterday. Wemax says issue with pricing and cannot honor ther own coupon code. If you dont want your order to be cancelled and feel upset please stay away from Wemax.

Also got email saying to cancel or wait for restock for my order on July 4th. They will take ur money, send you confirmation/ delivery date and then say they over sold the item.
