Seriously, as much a fan I am of Makita tools, I do wonder about the scenario where this is a difference maker?
In general this seems more like one of those oddball Ryobi 18V tools, the clear leader in tools you didn't know you needed.

I also borrowed a excavator from a neighbor for a while, and he sent along his Dewalt battery powered grease gun and it was the greatest thing I've ever used, haha. I was excited to find this on sale!

In general this seems more like one of those oddball Ryobi 18V tools, the clear leader in tools you didn't know you needed.
Their only downside is they provide no feedback. No indication whatsoever if grease is flowing or not and why.
Greasing my equipment requires 3 hands with a hand pump.
With this, I can go back to 2 hands, lol.

When its your job to grease 300+ grease points on a single commerical vehicle in a shift. And you'll have to pump it 20x per fitting because the inspector wants to see only new grease come out of the witness hole. Then come back tomorrow and do it for the next vehicle in the fleet.
I stand corrected, for sure! Leading a charmed sealed-bearing life here. Thanks for the info. Just about anything Makita has been a win for me!
