Can be used multiple times, but be aware that for me, adding cheese for 40 cents actually CHARGED $1.37. Per burger. Also had a problem where nuggets were priced at $1 and charged $2.49.
Since it's in the app, the store couldn't correct the total, so I had to open an issue inside app.

Edit: so I played with it to see the math:

"free" Whopper redeemed with 400 points charged 37 cents
"free" whooper redeemed with 400 points and adding cheese listed at 40 cents charged $1.37

You're probably charged sales tax on the whopper. I did my orders in NYC and it's free.

Sales tax was added on top of that at the end, but you may be right that the system is trying to get the tax ahead of time on the "full list price" like companies do on "free" cell phones.
The screen receipt just makes it look like they are really bad at math.

I used points in 5 different states and was never charged sales tax. It's strange you had to pay tax while using points on free item.
