I won't do quarter or half zips. A full zip is a lot more flexible on how open you want it to be. Much easier to remove on the go, tie around waist, shove in a pack, etc. I always want full zippers on anything I might need to remove easily.

On the plus side, it gives you the thrilling feeling of undressing in public while your waitress is just trying to get your drink order.
Raises hand.

The bigger problem is the hair and glasses, lose them asap
Lmao I had to read this like 3 times before I even understood what you were saying. Why does the type of zip affect your running? I personally hate pulling jackets/sweaters over my head, especially when I'm all sweaty.

The tiny gaps between each tooth of the zipper provide a perfect escape route for all of your speed. The larger the zipper, the more speed you lose to the surrounding air. It's just science.
I am with Dobie, full zips for some reason just does not seem to move right on a long run especially on a wet day.
As for being able to take it off easily before I order in a restaurant… well it is a running jacket and I am pretty sure people wouldn't want me anywhere near them until I shower.
It says running jacket not dining jacket.
I wear a proper coat/jacket for social events but this is labeled more to athletic wear

This is 2022, Athleisure is accepted everywhere. I went in a fancy restaurant and they had to lend me a Lululemon windbreaker just to get in the door.
