I personally dislike pull-overs and quarter zips in general. Come into a warm room, restaurant, etc. and struggle in public taking it off at the table messing up my hair and glasses, just a hassle I rather not deal with

I won't do quarter or half zips. A full zip is a lot more flexible on how open you want it to be. Much easier to remove on the go, tie around waist, shove in a pack, etc. I always want full zippers on anything I might need to remove easily.

The tiny gaps between each tooth of the zipper provide a perfect escape route for all of your speed. The larger the zipper, the more speed you lose to the surrounding air. It's just science.

I am with Dobie, full zips for some reason just does not seem to move right on a long run especially on a wet day.

As for being able to take it off easily before I order in a restaurant… well it is a running jacket and I am pretty sure people wouldn't want me anywhere near them until I shower.

It says running jacket not dining jacket.

I wear a proper coat/jacket for social events but this is labeled more to athletic wear

This is 2022, Athleisure is accepted everywhere. I went in a fancy restaurant and they had to lend me a Lululemon windbreaker just to get in the door.
