Same price at Costco right now. The Costco bundle doesn't include the sub, if you add the sub to the Costco deal its the same price give or take 5 bucks. Iv ordered plenty with Adorama but id prefer Costco every time.

Hey everyone. I have two front, one center and 4 rear surround speakers. I also have 2 Atmos. Do I need a 9 channel receiver because I have Denon S760h and don't see any additional ports for atmos since I used all seven ports for my seven speakers. Or can I just plug two speakers in one port. I also have Klipsch.

The Atmos speakers are independent channels so you'll need to upgrade to fully take advantage of that setup.

If this is in a basement with not a flat ceiling (rafters) it seems like Atmos would be wasted? Save a little on speakers and get step down. ?

Unfortunately this Atmos design package won't really do well if at all in that layout.

This may be a blessing in disguise since this Atmos design isn't the best and this is Klipsch's entry level model.

Atmos is built on top of a 5.1 setup so building a good 5.1 1st would be better IMO. You can always add Atmos later if you feel it's needed.

If Klipsch is the brand you like.
I would suggest applying all your budget on building a 5.0 setup from their RP line.

If you need a receiver, you only need 5 channels.
You can look for a used one that has the features you need, that will save you a significant amount of money.

Hope that helps and good luck.

All good speakers, but the subwoofer really sucks

I have the same issue and I ended up rigging an unused pair of speakers to my rafters, right up against the ceiling/(floor?) at a 45 degree angle so they fire right into my main seating position. This worked well for me and gives me the full atmos sound field.

Good to know. I'm still in the planning phase for my basement home theater setup
