I have this and it has worked great. Nothing fancy and the plastic parts are a bit flimsy. Otherwise, it works as it should. I use a reusable filter for it.

I bought this from Walmart for myself after having used it at an AirBnB stay for a couple of weeks without problems. But had to return it.

It is a cheap knock off of Mr Coffee with a couple of failure points. The lid has a support hook for propping it open that came broken in mine. It isn't critical for making coffee though. Reviews indicate that this is a common problem.

Also the power button can come apart.

Not worth the $5 in savings unless you are buying large quantities of it for a rental complex or hotel. But expect complaints.

This Mr Coffee isn't built that great either.

Wouldn't recommend either for daily use.

This type of coffee makers are $10 every day at wal-mart in store. Bought a couple for nieces and nephews for their dorms.

I bought this last year when I broke the carafe on a Crux 5 cup model. It has worked without issue for 300 or so daily brews.

The last Mr. Coffee mini brew maker I bought died within a year. Another of those companies coasting on name recognition after the reputation is gone. My Krups Cafe Express you couldn't kill if you ran over it.

It's a 15.00 coffee maker, chill out. I have one and it works great, if it died in 1 year I could buy another one and still be ahead.. lol

I have one of these in the garage. Forgot how small 5 cups really is. Fine for when I needed a few cups to make the drive into work a little nicer, but since around 2005, I've been mostly working from home and want more fluid that stays hot all morning. Switched to tea. Have a 40oz thermos and needed a larger solution. Sigh.

Have a cheap black-n-decker now with LED display for numbers that is 50% dead. Can't really program the brewing for the morning anymore, so I'm in the market for a replacement that lasts.

I still drink coffee occasionally, just not at home. Don't want the caffeine withdrawal symptoms. Didn't know I was addicted until a vacation in the early 1990s. Felt bad for a few days. Never again.

I would recommend the Bella Pro stainless look for $9.99 (goes on sale all the time, regular price about $25)

I remember Mr. Coffee being introduced. I think Joe DiMaggio was their first spokesman. Some years earlier, Mrs. Olson was introduced by some coffee brand as a housewife pitch woman. Mr. Coffee and Mrs. Olson serving up coffee for 50+ years.
