    I've been carrying this phone for about a year. For me speed and performance is not absolutely necessary but battery life is. This comes with a very generous 5,000mAh battery that lasts for days (especially since it's not using a power hungry CPU or screen). It's also nice that it is 5G.

    You will give up a lot of features/performance with the Moto, especially coming from a Pixel. Here's Pixel 3 XL new for $249 on Amazon. I have a Pixel 3 and like it much better (especially the camera) vs my iPhone SE 2020 and 11. Running android 12 nicely. Reviews of the Ace are tepid. If you need 5G, port in a number to either Metro or Cricket and pay MUCH less.

    I have been using this phone on T-Mobile (bought from T-Mobile) and it is fantastic! Replaced my pixel 3aXL and don't miss it. It games (3axl could not play some titles) and if you use the modded Google camera app, the pictures are better quality than I was getting on my pixel.

    I've been using the AT&T Prepaid 5G Ace on a spare line for about a month now. It's definitely one of the better budget phones I've used from Moto and Samsung. Keep in mind that it's a ginormous heavy brick.

    Would this be a good replacement for a Pixel 2 XL. I've noticed the battery life is suffering, needs to be charged almost twice a day now.

    Probably a decent replacement for the Pixel 2XL. The 5G ace won't be quite as fast or take the same quality pics but the battery life will be way better. I got rid of my 2XL pretty quick because of the angry blue screen and weak battery.

    I picked up the stylus version a little while ago for about the same. The two models aren't that dissimilar. It's pretty good for a person who just needs a phone. The battery last a couple of days, but you get the extra weight for that. The only annoyance I have with it is that there is no notification light which will be the same on the ace version.
