Can you save the footage to hard drive Live or only just afterwards as a clip ? Existing wired Chimes don't work as well right ?

Looking for wired to use with existing wired chimes and to save video away from the doorbell. Since if someone did break or steal this Doorbell all video footage is saved on the internal memory on the doorbell.

Its weird. I think all the wired ones save to the memory chip located on the doorbell itself which is pure stupidity. All the wireless battery operated ones save to the home hub or whatever its called. I am also looked for a wired one since I dont want to deal with charging the video doorbell nor do I want the delays associated with the battery ones either.

You may have to check out other solutions like Unifi doorbell etc. all the easy fit doorbells like nest, ring etc use cloud for convenience and eufy is weird about their storage. I really don't understand why would someone want everything to be saved on the device itself. I have heard in the even you lose WiFi, you can't see any alerts or play videos from the device

i like the idea of continuous recording, but why this pro version wasn't even sold on Eufy official website, and cheaper than the regular 2K wired version. Anything wrong with this?

Isn't having Kasa wired doorbell and another camera is a better(cheaper) option than this? Excluding having 2 pieces to power?
