First, don't confuse impact driver, impact wrench, and cordless ratchet. All different tools.

Yes, none of these ratchets have the torque of an impact wrench. That is not a bad thing.

They are different tools designed for different applications. Often I don't need nor even want mega torque when removing a nut.

If you're going to be removing tires, rims, busting off rusty nuts and bolts, doing brake jobs, you probably want an impact WRENCH.

If you're mostly doing stuff under the hood, you want a cordless RATCHET, probably an extended version if you care to pay the extra bucks for one.

If you're building a deck, you want an impact DRIVER to drive deck screws.

If you're like most of us here, you will end up buying all of them at some point. Peace

Have the brushed version and love it. This brushless one should be even better.

The one with higher torque? This one is better - faster and has a smaller head. You can always loosen a nut by manually turning the ratchet.

I have 2. Just used one all day yesterday and the little battery still had juice at the end of the day.

I have the older model, and Every time I use it I feel sorry for people who don't have one. It's a game-changer if you like to work on cars.

Been waiting for the high-speed to go on sale… more durable than the older non-fuel and smaller head than the older fuel—- best of both worlds

First time I've run into an instance where HD excluded an item from their $20 off $200 coupons.

I put two of these in the cart with a total of $278. entered my promo code at checkout and got the following error:

Promotion code [Code Removed] does not apply to any items currently in your cart.

^ I wonder if they are going to start excluding special buyers and what not.

On rare occasions, you can find the regular brushed version with battery for $119 at Home Depot, but all I've heard time and time again is that the Fuel-Brushless version is vastly superior (eg more torque) to the brushed version. In that regards, I'm super tempted to pick this up.
