EVGA 750w Gold SFX power supply for $89.99 with free powerlink.

EVGA is selling their 750w Gold SFX PSU for only $90 with a free powerlink. This seems like a really good price for a 750w Gold SFX in general. The only thing to keep in mind is that this is an SFX PSU and the cable for the 24pin is a little short.

This PSU comes with an ATX bracket in the box so you do not have to buy one if you need to adapt this onto an ATX only spot.

You can read a review on the 650w version here. Seems like a very solid SFX PSU

Also available at Amazon for the same price but no free powerlink.

Really great deal with or without the powerlink. SFX can can be used in place of atx also with an adapter (Silverstone sells one), and if you plan on using sleeved extensions for a build the shorter cables will be a blessing anyways. Plus with this unit you're getting a 10 year warranty from EVGA.

I used this PSU in a SSUPD Mesh system and the 24pin was just long enough in the highest position in the case. It was too short to fit it in the lowest position in the case. Granted, the Corsair SFX 600 was also too short in the lowest position but I could tell the Corsair SFX 600 was "almost" there. If you have a ITX mobo where the 24pin is lower this probably won't be an issue if you have the same case.

Actually this EVGA PSU comes with the adapter in the box.

Just bought the EVGA 850w G5 for $95. An extra five dollars for 100 more watts.

The G5 is an ATX size PSU. This is an SFX size PSU. Two different sizes. SFX PSU are typically more expensive than their ATX counterparts due to the much smaller form factor. Check out the below picture to see the difference in size. This doesnt include the sizes above ATX.

extra $9 off if you use an Associate Code...I've been strongly considering this psu for an ITX build, the main complaints seem to be the short cables and the inability to switch on/off Eco Mode...

Not surprised by what you did. Coil whine starts to occur when you use at least 65-80% PSU watts. Also, build quality also a factor.

I need at least 850 watts SFX PSU ($100 at EVGA) to power the EVGA 3080 12GB FTW ULTRA. Because it uses 450watts alone when gaming. Plus, it can spike up to 1100 watts for a few ns. Sight, that is why SFX build costs a lot in the PSU part. I currently own 650watts SFX from NZXT and it is not great (coil whine/buzzing).

Look like I need to buy a new case and 1000watts ATX PSU.

I will gamble on this EVGA SuperNOVA 850 GM, SFX Form Factor, Power Supply 123-GM-0850-X1 [evga.com] for $100 buck.
Plus, no pigtail cable with this EVGA CPU EPS 8pin to PCIe 8pin (6+2), Individually Sleeved Cable [evga.com] and I hope no coil whine. Finger cross.
If not it will cost me a 15% restocking fee and $15-20 in shipping fee to return back to EVGA.

1100 watts, holy schmoly. Wouldn't that smoke the whole cpu system?
