The Winix Replacement filter S is now also on sale along side the unit it fits (C545).

Best air purifier out there and now the genuine filter is also on sale!

Bought 4 units during 2020 that I will now buy the filters for.

YMMV depending on the state, but new unit is $100 now and comes with two filters. MA offers $40 rebate on it, so essentially it is $60 for two filters and C545 unit. Two replacement filters via this deal is $70, although one wouldn't have to deal with the rebate.

Every time the unit goes on sale for $100, I sell one of my old units for $25. Then I setup the new one and use the second filter for one of my other units

I was thinking of buying the air filter unit in store if i see it this weekend. I know the box says it comes with an extra filter, wondering if this is still worth to buy it in advance or wait if it regularly goes on sale?

Wow, thanks for the reminder to check! Some of the utility companies in NJ are also offering rebates on air purifiers. Need to submit one for $50 from the last Costco offer before the deadline is up.
