I think it's going to be impossible to post a GPU deal that doesn't get downvoted to oblivion by the hodl gang morons' regurgitated rumors until the next generation launches. "NeXt GeN g0nNa B 50000% bEtTur aNd $5 d0LluRz. h0dL!

Good card for a decent price. Would consider this or a RX 6600 which is going for about this same price as a good budget 1080p gaming card. I used this card for a couple of years before upgrading to a 3060ti a couple of months back and I honestly dont really see any difference in the games that I play between the two.

I don't want to be argumentative, but I don't even think it's a decent price : /

The 6600 XT is the better card, and $400 will get you a 3060 Ti which is notably faster, and also not the best deal even at MSRP the way prices are cratering.

* There are so many good used cards for dirt cheap at the moment. It's a buyers market, the tables have turned.

Good luck getting a 3060ti for $400. That is what I paid for mine because I got lucky on the Best Buy site which normally sell out pretty quick. They are still normally near the $500 range. Personally, I would never buy a used GPU. If you are okay with that, then thats great. Of course the 6600xt is a better card, but its not $250. There is a big difference between $250 and $400+ when you are building a budget gaming system.

The 3060 Ti's aren't hard to find for around $400...ironically it's in stock on bestbuy.com, as I write this lol. I've never had any issues with used GPUs, even used GPUs I then put into mining rigs 24/7 for 18 months. MSI and Asus cards also carry their warranty from the date of manufacture without a receipt or invoice, so it follows the card.

It's unwise to spend $500-$600 on a system, and then NOT spend an additional $150 for a 50% performance increase from a 2060 to a 3060 Ti.

That said, I wouldn't build a system right now at all, but if you're going to, I'd build a nice machine and go cheap on the GPU. Hunt for a slick deal on a used 1070 or 5600 XT until 4XXX drops. It's a lot easier to be patient for a deal when you have something that works ok. You don't need an overpriced new 2060 for it to work ok. A used $150 1070 works just as well.

3060 ti FE is still available on BestBuy. They haven't sold out since this went up this morning. Only the rtx 3080 FE sells out instantly now.

The RX6600 is now around the same price but performs 15% better than the GTX2060. Get the RX6600 instead if you want something in the mid $200s.

Sure. That's why I suggested that in my first reply. Either way, you can build a pretty nice 1080p gaming system for about $600 with either card.
