    This phone is positioned to compete with other "mid-tier" premium handsets like the Samsung A53 5G. Unfortunately for TCL, Samsung's excess inventory of mid-tier models has eroded TCL's typical price advantage. Additionally, Google has recommitted to discounting the new Pixel 6a in a way that lowers the value proposition of phones like the TCL 20 Pro 5G.

    The presence of wireless charging and a headphone jack are feature advantages in TCL's favor, but overall the Pixel 6a at an everyday price of $400 (or lower discounted prices after trade-in) makes the savings opportunity presented by the TCL's lower price point seem like an opportunity for being penny-wise but pound foolish.

    I bought this phone because I love their TV I recently bought. It is a pretty phone but mine has lots of problems. If you are a fast texter this phone cant keep up. Aps fail constantly. I thought the cam was decent. I used it intensively for a day and it would crash for a few days. The cam ap would not boot up. The final straw for me was the Bluetooth did not function properly. It made my music come in at different levels. I've never experienced a phone with so many gremlins. Learn from my mistake and steer clear of this.

    Can you go into more detail about the bluetooth? So your music was coming in at different volume levels? What Bluetooth codecs are compatible with this model?
