If you missed the last P85QX-H01 deal for $1,999.99, this P85QX-J01 is the newer 2022 version that is very similar in specs.
I believe this model adds bluetooth and voice control to the remote.

Costco has it available for $1,999.99

Costco out of stock. Costco seems superior with additional warranty.

Latest firmware/updates makes this tv a contender now. HDR10 and HDR10+ needs work. Colors are all effed up but Dolby vision, sdr, and eArc are all functioning as it should.

Smartcast is not nearly as polished as Sony or Samsung but tolerable.

Voice function works surprisingly well.

Viewing angles reflections are pretty damn good. On par If not better than Samsungs qn90a because Vizio doesn't employ the 🌈 viewing angle panel.

Ik I'll get hate for this, but please spend a bit more if you can and avoid Vizio. My 2016 p65 had problems almost immediately and finally crapped out. Besides that, the picture was really impressive.

Never again will I ever buy another Vizio.

I've got a 75" PQX from 2020 - picture quality is actually good minus some blooming from time to time, but man is it a piece of shit.

It'll turn on by itself every once in a while, gets stuck on stupid and won't turn the backlight off when you shut it down, and the software is horrendous and slow.

If I wasn't using it with an NVIDIA Shield I'd of sold it already.

Hard pass, sorry folks. Stick with Samsung, LG, or Sony.

EDIT: Hell, maybe even TCL or Hisense, LOL.

Vizio got whooped by Hisense especially and TCL. They are not competitive anymore price wise. would take a Hisense anyday versus a similar specced Vizio. But to each his own

Which Vizio do you have and what other Hisense or TCL do you own that you are comparing to?

I hated the high end vizio I bought years ago returned it for a low end Samsung just worked better

Pic quality was better in vizio a bit, high vs low/mid end

But damn I did not like the OS actual on vizio

People complain about Samsung having no Dolby or it's os sucks, but I think Samsungs os works perfect

Similar experience for me. 65" Vizio from Costco, service tech replaced the board/motherboard. TV still randomly reboots every couple of weeks while watching, will never buy a Vizio again. Also, the smart TV app is less than worthless, Roku or similar device required.

Yup that's accurate. My TV would randomly reboot all the time. I put up with it because I wanted to get my money's worth. The built in apps were annoyingly slow which made it unusable. I ended up getting a Nvidia Shield to solve that. Another thing was the TV color was very uneven. When white or grey filled the screen I could see that there were huge areas of red. It was so bad that I seriously wondered if my screensaver was really white or of it had red blotches. Additionally it made watching b&w movies a bad experience. I ended up getting a Sony OLED. There's a reason why Vizio can offer so much for so much less. They skimp on quality control and use cheap parts. But as I previously said the picture quality was very impressive, and that's coming from someone who works in photo editing and retouching. However the issues were too much. I'll never buy anything Vizio again.

My Vizio glitches and repeats the same audio loop. Turning the TV off doesn't work, I have to physically unplug it.
