Can't find anything on warranty (guaranteed non-dead pixels, etc). Also, not sure about Gamestop refurb stuff. Used games are hit-and-miss. We bought a Wii U that was clearly not refurbed any more than a wet wipe taken to it. Curious about others experience with refurbed monitors at Gamestop.
If this is in good condition with a decent warranty then the price seems pretty solid.

My refurbished Xbox was refurbed with a premium grade sandpaper. I'd take the wet wipe treatment over abrasive rub down any day
Relevant parts:
1. Can't return unless defective
2. Items over $500 (which this is) can't be returned to the store
3. Actually can't return at all - monitors fall into the policy of "customer must contact the manufacturer directly to inquire about a refund or exchange of these items (manufacturer contact info. can be found by calling GameStop support)"
So ... I couldn't find specifics on refurbished stuff. Their policy on new stuff isn't great. Not expecting a super great policy on their refurbed. Plus this is really expensive. Plus Gamestop has a pretty awful reputation for "refurbished" stuff.

Oh gawd, that policy sounds horrible. It's a "Call the manufacturer, not our problem" policy.
So I looked up the extended warranty and with the Costco card stating "Warranties run out. Get an extra 24 months added to your warranty when you purchase items at least in part with your Citi card." So do I get 24 month warranty for the monitor? Thank you!
This is normal price for this monitor at this point, and I'm talking brand new from Samsung. These 49"rs have been known to have a lot of QC issues, especially CRG9. Not worth it imo, just wait for a samsung deal for around same price on these brand new, they go on sale all the time.
If it were samsung refurb Id say its a great deal but gamestop refurb is one of the worst in any industry.
They'd have to drop this to 200 for me to even consider and then I likely still wouldn't because its likely a 50/50 rate of crap product.

Normal price? I see that it hit this price one time (in the post that you provided). One other time it was $750. Then another deal at $800. Then a bunch at $900. This price is really about $250 cheaper than the normal "deals" that tend to pop up.
