It's crazy how much Ego and Makita charge for these things. I wonder why they are so much more than other attachments they sell?

For those deciding if they should go the power head attachment route Ego announced on their website a new snowblower attachment 12 inch wide does 6 inches of snow for $219.

Watch a video for the hedge trimmer, depending on your needs it can be a little awkward, or exactly what you need. compared to a stand alone hedge trimmer. Reason being is its multihead hedge trimmer is longer and balanced different even without the option pole extension.

So if your trying to reach things high up, or in weird positions (You can angle the hedge trimmer on the multihead) then this is great, if your doing most of the work at ground level then this may not be for you.

It has been this price for a month.

Wish they offered it without battery.

Color me skeptical. I cannot fathom how a handheld snowblower that can only theoretically handle 6" would be of any use. It would be as heavy or heavier than a snow shovel, slower than a snow shovel or real snowblower, probably won't have enough throw distance compared to a real snowblower... and I'm sure that it will be awkward AND not have enough weight at the head in order to prevent leaving a sheet of compressed snow at the bottom, resulting in forming ice. You can scrape that snow off with a shovel, or a real snowblower on wheels can scrape it off nice and evenly.

I love power tools but you're better off with a snowshovel or spreading fertilizer or salt melt for a few inches, or a snowblower for heavier snowfall or when you reach your physical limit.

Didn't see that in their new product announcement, but sure enough it's on Ego's site. I'm hoping there are other unmentioned products like this for 2023, seeing as the stuff they announced was a bit underwhelming.
