I already have a Logitech joystick, and thought that would be the end of external hardware for flight games, but I do like the idea of having a separate throttle and having other buttons easily accessible with my left hand (and of course, it's simply more realistic). So, I jumped in on this deal. I got it through a competitor, price matched, because I wanted to burn a gift card. Thanks OP!
I haven't tried that before. I was curious. How did you set it up? Games from PC or the Quest? Which games? Thanks

I played DCS (Steam) for a limited time, just to test it out - it's pretty darn complicated, steep learning curve - but the graphics are just amazing. I've read a lot of reviews, and even actual fighter pilots play it - and the reality of the aircraft controls and handling is pretty amazing. I haven't entered the multiplayer arena, because I would be taken out in an instant. LOL.
I also played MS Flight Sim, which is also stunning, and the level of detail you can achieve is mind boggling. PCVR hooks directly in with MS Xbox app on the PC. I can't remember the exact setup, but it's very straightforward to get it all playing together.
Both of these games can actually be used to supplement learning to fly. If you mastered either of these games, even on just some small model planes, you would be WAY ahead of the curve when actually jumping into a cockpit for the first time. Nothing replaces the real thing, but these games with actual physical controls (like this deal), possibly pedals (optional), and in a VR experience, definitely comes close.
I almost never play Squadrons, but highly recommend Elite Dangerous!
