aside from 32GB RAM (another $100 value?), not sure the Ti version of 3070 is worth the premium over the 3070, 12700H or 6800/6900 offerings with 16GB at Walmart. 12700H+3070+16GB is $1599 there.

For the extra 200 bucks, I'd take this one. However, yes, both great laptops. I have the 5800H/3070 version. I'm super happy with it.

Newbie question here.. How would this compare to a similarly priced desktop pc that I could build myself? I struggle with the laptop to desktop conversion for similarly named parts.. for a similar price, I could build a desktop with a 3070ti.. is this laptop 3070ti throttled by a lower power supply or cooling challenges?
