I feel like you'd be better off with a Soundcore or Soundcore 2 and just put a strap with a carabiner on it. Stereo, longer battery life, bigger sound, still fully water and dustproof and at least the Soundcore 2 has an aux input, not sure about the base model. Sorry but I've heard JBL speakers and compared them to just my Soundcore 2 and I don't see why they cost so much more.

A lot of companies have higher place based on "name". I can say as someone who got a bad jbl speaker as a gift, it was a total nightmare. They literally don't care about federal law (If a company doesn't explicity state you need a receipt they have to honor the warranty based on manufactuers date). I just made a fake amazon receipt so I could get a replacement. I will never buy from them again.

Is there a place for the loop to go through?

I just looked, I guess not on the Soundcore or Soundcore 2 but the Soundcore 3 has a lanyard loop. My apologies.

I have a Clip 3 I got for 25$ because the 4 was out. Now the main speaker is blown and there is NOWHERE to buy a replacement speaker...I like it but now it sounds like hot garbage....
