Best bang for the buck from what I could find lately. Fairly consistent reviews stating this older 700A has less issues than 700B. Seems pretty consistent with the entire Q series. Thought it best to grab one before $1000+ models are all that's left of the 2021s.

Purchased the wireless rear speakers 9500s and confirm they are compatible and fully worth it if watching movies or listening to music

100% agree with this, I also bought these from the Buydig deal a few months back and paired them with the 9500 rear speaker kit. There is a complaint out there from multiple people that the rear speakers are too quiet for their liking, but the soundbar does have a setting to increase the rear speaker volume separately from the rest of the system

Good to know... To adjust, i have to use soundbar remote and make changes through the small soundbar screen? Or it gets adjusted through the TV screen?

rear speakers are absolute garbage. 90% of the time, I can't tell if they're on or not. The rest of the system is fantastic though

This deal is not that good. Q700B was $320 at Dell back in July and its Costco version Q7CB was $380 then.

According to the manual it's 5.1.4 after adding these 2.0.2 rear speakers. However, if you don't have enough space to place them behind your sofa, maybe it's better to wait for the next Q800B deal. Also 9500S costs almost the same as the sound bar itself.

It's through the remote, and it pops up on the little screen in the front. It is a little annoying to have to wait to see all the letters in "rear speaker volume" tho. Either way, I think you can only adjust it between -2 and +2, so it's not much of help sometimes.

Yeah, 5.1.2 actually. I tested various output settings via Xbox Series X and the I could hear distinct output from the upward firing speakers. But as I said above, the rear speakers are a bit low. If you're watching 5.1 content like movies or sports, you can definitely hear the crowd or background music/noise in the rear speakers only which is pretty cool. I'm not an audiophile but it definitely gives off a "surround sound" profile.
