If you think logically why do they give 70 or 80% discount. Was it priced to the moon earlier ?
They may be discontinued by the manufacturer or Lowe's is no longer gong to carry them.
Yes. Marketing. There is no regulatory that controls what msrp should be. Just plain stupid consumers that fall for a sales tactic.

I'd only purchase two of the last three listed as alpha . I agree with some msrp being elevated but no way ur finding either of those alpha lights for 20-30$ . It has current styling and looks nice . Obviously I don't know the quality but after renovating an entire house I never found anything remotely current in the 20-30$ range for lights. At least nothing that fits our style (not looking like the generic Lowes/HD lights put in rentals )
