Cygolite Ranger 1400 front bike light - $65 + tax at REI (free shipping for members)

I was in the market for a bike light and found this deal at REI.
Cygolite appears to be a well-regarded brand (the Metro Plus 800 USB has been the Wirecutter pick [nytimes.com] for a while). 1,400 lumens may be overkill, and Cygolite mounts as supposedly not the greatest. However, at this price, I'm willing to give it a shot and can always return it to REI if it doesn't work.
REI indicates this product is discontinued, but Cygolite's site [cygolite.com] doesn't indicate this. According to CCC, the lowest it's ever gone on Amazon was $79.95 for a brief moment months ago.
Item ships free for REI members and was available at my local store for pickup. Buying from REI means you're backed by REI's customer service.

Things like USB-C charge ports, universal mounting interface (looks like some light makers are starting to converge on Garmin's quarter turn standard), under the computer mount, and dual lenses (spot/flood) missing from this particular light.
You have something like Moon Rigel Max, or Magicshine models that are in this price range but offer better features and optics.
