Looks like they got a restock on these things, here's previous threads for reference, whatever questions you may have are probably already answered in one of them:

I've had this i5 machine for a little over a month and love it.
Stock CPU fan is incredibly noisy. Best upgrade I did was I replaced the CPU fan with a Noctua NF-A9 PWM.
Note, it is NOT a direct bolt up replacement. I designed and 3D printed a fan adapter to go from the 71.5mm stock fan bolt spacing to the larger shroud on the Noctua and 82.5mm bolt spacing. The Noctua is a massive upgrade. No more vibration and no more noise. It is smooth and dead silent and runs much less than teh stock fan. When it does run it cools CPU temps FAST.
Below printables link I uploaded the files for my 3D printed adapter to replace the stock CPU fan with a Noctua NF-A9 PWM.
edit: for those lazy to ready, this is too small for most GPus. The PSu is non-standard, so can't replace easily. Prob only GPUs that are buspowered can be used.

I've been looking for a prebuilt for an off-site backup
There are 3 SATA ports. There is only 1 normal SATA power connector and 1 mini-SATA power connector for the DVD drive. The power comes from the motherboard which uses "nonstandard" 6-pin JST connectors.
So basically you need to find a JST-to-SATA power cable or hack the wiring if using lots of standard SATA drives.
Be aware that this thing has almost no airflow through the case so if you stuff too many hot components in there without adding fans it could cause trouble.
It's a decent machine as long as you don't need much in the way of upgrades. It's pretty much a laptop in a mini desktop case. I wish they had a cheap 12-series Intel CPU version.
* There may be errors in my description, I've been awake for like 48 hours so check the threads posted above, lots of info in there.

I got this for my dad a little while back. He doesn't run anything heavy but it's been rock solid for him. He keeps telling me how fast it is, but he's coming from something ancient lol.

thanks for the specs, btut
so where do we send you our orders ?
Correct, the case and PSU can't support standard GPUs. But low profile ones powered by PCIE work perfectly. I'm using an Nvidia T600 for CAD work and light 1080p gaming and its been great. If you want the best low profile that will work, look up the Nvidia A2000. Pricey but excellent specs for only using 70W from the PCIe port.
Also, if you don't have access to a printer, PM me and we can probably work something out if you are really interested.

Anyone know how many sata ports is on the mobo?

Like the other poster mentioned, 3 SATA ports.
You can also purchase the below ACER cable which supplies 2 SATA power ports from the spare port on the motherboard. So if you wanted to run 3 SATA drives, you just need this one cable to power 2 of them, then the stock cable in the machine has a spare SATA power plug on it. I'm using that cable to power a 3.5" storage drive and a 2.5" SSD for steam games both mounted in the Acer's drive caddy.
how easy to upgrade RAM on this? have to remove the stock one and get your own kit?
I just opened up my machine when I got it, noted the ADATA 8gb ram part number, and found an exact matching stick on ebay for under $30. Just ordered that one stick and it makes an exact matching 16gb pair. Super snappy now and plenty of RAM to run SolidWorks now.

Thanks for all the deets!
Sounds like the hunt continues....I think I may end up just upgrading my main server and turn the main into the off-site.
