About this movie:

As long as you have your Apple iTunes connected to your Movies Anywhere account, it will transfer just fine.

I have Watchmen Ultimate in HD so it's not letting me buy it in 4K. I'd pay that for the upgrade, is there any way to do that?

Purchase through the Microsoft Store app on any Windows PC. Will upgrade your resolution level and port directly to MA.

I purchased both films. It appears Watchmen: Ultimate Cut will transfer MA (thru iTunes, VUDU, etc) just fine if you don't any previous copies or editions.

However, A Star is Born didn't transfer MA correctly thru iTunes or VUDU (prob. due to them not having the Encore: Extended Cut Edition) but shows fine on Amazon.

That is my side of report on things.

Did it give you the theatrical version of a star is born on Vudu and iTunes? Because the extended cut is included as a bonus feature on both services.

Just checked on both VUDU and iTunes and it doesn't show that I own the theatrical versions. Almost like I didn't buy it.

Strange.

Maybe I should relink my Movies Anywhere account.


Update: Just contacted Movies Anywhere support regarding A Star is Born: Encore. It looks like it is not currently available in these retailers, Apple and VUDU; a movie's availability in each retailer is based on the film's distribution rights. While you will see the movie in your Movies Anywhere library, it will only transfer if the retailers carries a spare listing of the movie

Prime video only lists HD quality for A Star is Born Encore. So I think there is no way to play UHD on a TV from Microsoft library.
