thanks! been wanting to try FOGO but it's way too pricey. in 4 1
My favorite so far is masterbuilt . Great price and dense coal that lasts long . I'm waiting for that to go on sale . They just jacked the price up to $15 but it has been $12 past 6 months so hoping sale hits soon
How does this compare to something like B&B lump? $1/pound is pretty standard pricing for lump, I'm not sure why the regular price is so high unless there's something that really makes this brand stand out.
Edit: I did some searching in a couple of my BBQ groups and apparently FOGO is supposed to be the best you can buy. I'm picking up a couple bags to try.

This is great stuff. Big chunks burns slow flavor is not intense. Have not tried B&B but I'm buying some bags.

Black is the premium. Smaller chunks.

Can you please elaborate. Which has the smaller chunks? This or the premium? Aren't larger chunks better?
Interesting that the Premium is smaller chunks, I like using larger stuff in my BGE, but not if its half a tree. lol
