Yeah... this was a bust by Ryobi. Bad reviews especially for the price they were trying to get for them originally.
They'd have sold thousands more if they'd have made it with a left blade (for right handed, right sided use). Even I would've bought one at full price the day it came out, if it was a true righties track saw.
Sadly, still only 1 left blade track saw exists in the world... and it's 💩 .
In 10 years, righties will look back at how long they went using left handed track saws.
Keep in mind you also need additional hardware to make it work like it should. For example, they only include 1 clamp, when really you should have 2 clamps to keep the rail in place. It was a good idea and I look forward to when Ryobi quits messing the design up. But right now, I'll hold my money and wait for better. Another potential for Ryobi is just having a rail system that's compatible with their existing table saws. Don't really need a fancy purpose built saw for this kind of cutting. Also keep in mind, the track is only 27.5 inch long. You can't even cut a piece of plywood with a short section like that. DeWalt for example has a 102 inch track with extension piece for another 59 inches. That's well over 8 feet needed to nicely cut plywood.

comes with 2 27.5" tracks that can be joined, so you can at least cut across a 4x8' sheet. it would be nice if the tracks were compatible with the other tracks and accessories out there though for sure, but they aren't

don't need to be this expensive. it's just a glorified circular saw

To get it at the lower price, you'd have to buy it with the battery and return the battery later.
